“ 1st time at Silvios and I got greeted with a hug from the new owner Tara and George as soon as I walked in! They are known for their sandwiches and make their bread in house so I had to go with a classic Cheesesteak, fried onions, cooper sharp on a seeded roll. Im very happy the meat was seasoned and the bread was crispy! I recommend visitng this place if in the hatboro area! BONUS INFO: they are adding icecream shop inside before summer! Going to be a great spot to walk to in this cute town! ”
“ First of all, I’d like to say congratulations to George and Tara on taking over from the last owner, it is definitely an upgrade. The food is fantastic. Seems like they’re going back to old school Stromboli and what Silvio’s actually used to have. I grew up in South Philly, and I have to say in my opinion and I’m a food critic for a major Philadelphia magazine. This is probably the best sandwich place in the suburbs of Philadelphia. I read some of the previous reviews and I don’t know what these people want or what they’re eating, but they’re not even giving the new owners a chance and they’ve only been there as I said a few weeks. If you’re in Hatboro, within a 15 -30 minute drive it’s worth the drive over to get a sandwich! Best of Luck George, Tara and Mazzy! ”
“ First off let me start by saying this place is already an upgrade from the previous owner. Had the pleasure of meeting the new owners, George and Tara, today. Super friendly and outgoing people. They have plans to clean up Silvio’s and even add an ice cream shop! The shop itself was clean and you can tell they are doing some work to spruce up the place. The food was spectacular, had a cheesesteak with cooper sharp and a slice of the Sicilian. The steak was full and cheesy, while the homemade bread enhanced the entire experience. The slice was great as well. Will definitely be back now that the new owners have brought back some of the original charm and quality. ”

“ Great food!! Love pizza Thursdays, can’t beat a 10 large pizza! Whole family enjoyed it. We will be making this a weekly ritual. My parents are newer to the area so it was nice to find a place that was close by with good food. Had a chance to talk to the new owners, great people. Been going for over 2 years now and the quality is amazing, the cheesesteaks, pizza, and deli sandwiches are great. the homemade bread takes everything to the next level.
